I was always afraid of the horror stories I'd heard about chiropractic, but I got to a point where I had to choose between neck surgery or chiropractic, so I chose the latter. I have never made a better decision in my entire life. In fact, I have a life now that I didn't have before because of chiropractic. The field has little to do with the urban legends that make people fear it and it is much more likely to heal a spine injury or back pain without long lasting side effects than surgery or drugs. Dr. Bloom, in particular, is the best of the best in a field that I now think very highly of!

I injured my spine in a high school gymnastics fall and have had two minor car accidents that caused whiplash-like injuries to my neck. I've been in chiropractic treatment for decades across three different states and multiple doctors, first with several visits a week to treat the original injuries, then decreasing to about once a month to sustain my recovery.

I started chiropractic after my first car accident, many years after my gymnastics injury. By that time, I was living with severe, chronic back pain and daily migraines that I assumed were caused by my 12-hour work days sitting in front of a computer. Now I know my suffering was caused by not getting proper treatment for my injuries. It was only aggravated by the eye strain and immobility. It's easy to attribute pain to the wrong cause, so don't make the same mistake!

With chiropractic treatment, I can still work long hours at a computer, but now I get a migraine about once every two years and I have some mild back discomfort when I'm due for my monthly appointment. I don't take any pain medication any more.

I had to find a new doctor when I changed jobs and moved to Michigan, which is always challenging. Dr. Bloom was in-network for my insurance (in many states, the best chiropractors are out-of-network so they cost a lot more) and he had glowing recommendations online, so I tried him.

By far, Dr. Bloom is the best chiropractor I've ever had. He has both the top medical training and the natural intuitive gift for the field. He clearly knows all the details about the interaction between nerves, muscles, and bones. Compared to the other doctors I've seen, his adjustments are easy and painless. Rather than use his body weight to push bones into place like most doctors do, he knows how to use light limb movements and pressure points to get bones moving in the correct direction.

I am already recommending him to others even though I'm still a relatively new patient. I know enough about chiropractic and his contemporaries to know just how brilliant he is by comparison.

If you're in pain, don't start with pills or surgery because they can create a lot more problems than they solve. Start by scheduling an appointment with Dr. Bloom and you might discover you don't need any other treatment!

Not only did I have no more pain after my adjustment, but I felt great afterward. I definitely saw a huge difference. He made sure every single question I had was answered, and is always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting him .
