Dr Marc Terebelo has been a Chiropractic Physician for over 31 years. He is knowledgeable in many different holistic techniques and molds his treatment approach to what works best for the individual patient. Dr Terebelo studied under Dr. George Goodheart, founder and developer of Applied Kinesiology, and Dr. Ellen Cutler, the founder and developer of the BIOSET system of allergy desensitization.
Applied Kinesiology techniques allow Dr Terebelo to:
*specifically locate and correct spinal misalignment (vertebral subluxation) and soft tissue injuries (disc, muscle and ligament)
*work with acupuncture points
*perform cranial-sacral therapy with TMJ

Dr Terebelo has been the recipient of 17 awards of commendation and excellence from the Michigan Chiropractic Society (now the Michigan Association of Chiropractors) and a member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology since 1986.
Dr Terebelo is well-known in the community as a teacher of holistic education. For 14 years he has taught a 10-session course entitled, “Fundamentals of Muscle Testing”, for those interested in learning more about the latest breakthroughs in holistic healthcare.

Chiropractic care focuses on the spine, its relationship to the nervous system and the health of the body. Every visit will include a spinal exam and treatment to ensure a healthy spine that will keep you pain free, with less movement restriction and arthritis as you get older.
My treatment is unique because of the use of the Applied Kinesiology method.
What is Applied Kinesiology? Applied Kinesiology (also known as AK) is a holistic method of care that includes spinal manipulation, attention and treatment to the muscle, ligaments and discs, and nutritional support to give your body the chemistry it needs to heal quicker. The founder of this landmark technique, Dr George Goodheart, taught me this holistic skill which has allowed me to be a member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology. In short, AK is an effective tool to evaluate and implement your individual treatment; it gets the job done in a shorter period of time by focusing on whole body care.
I take care to treat disc injuries in the appropriate manner by using cryotherapy and intersegmental traction. These modalities bring down the inflammation and decompress the impinged nerve root.
If there is a “pulled muscle” or other kind of muscle involvement I am able to diagnose the need for the appropriate soft tissue method to remedy the injury.
Nutritional supplements are included in my work because research has demonstrated that people with optimal chemistry heal quicker. The products that I carry are high quality and physician based only to get the job done. You get what you need, nothing more and nothing less.
Many health challenges including body pain, headaches, skin issues, and fatigue can be due to food and/or environmental sensitivities. Due to the ever increasing chemicals in our environment and decreasing nutrients in our food, more health challenges are due to these issues. With the BIOSET Method I can determine when food sensitivities are a factor and a path to alleviate the symptoms.
I also offer detox programs for those people who are noticing more aches, pains and fatigue. Every week we are bombarded by over 8500 chemicals that our body has to deal with. It makes sense to engage in a program to clear your liver and kidneys of as much of these chemicals as possible.
