At Van Every Family Chiropractic Center located in Royal Oak, we provide KST chiropractic care for the entire family including children, babies, pregnant women, and the elderly. In our office we accomplish this goal by using a chiropractic adjusting technique called Koren Specific Technique, or KST. This revolutionary chiropractic technique is probably unlike any treatment you may have experienced in another office. It is very different than manual adjusting, because there is no cracking, popping or twisting. Most KST chiropractic adjustments, in fact, will be done with the patient standing up. We use a chiropractic tool called the Arthrostim to tap the bone into place, instead of using our hands to manually adjust. This tool allows us to easily and comfortably adjust any bone, including your cranial bones. An overwhelming amount of our patients have had amazing results with the KST technique, including many who have not responded to being manually adjusted or have come to our office because they have "tried everything else" without success. I would highly recommend Dr. Anna Saylor-Wither to anyone who has had a hip and/or shoulder replacement. She specializes in the KST Technique where the doctor uses an adjusting instrument to correct the position of the bones, muscles, and ligaments. This technique has proven to be VERY successful for me and has improved my mobility, balance, and strength. This technique keeps my hips and lower back aligned due to the doctor's order of very specific adjustments. She is compassionate and kind, and takes the time to listen to what the patient has to say. I cannot describe how great my experience with this doctor and her entire staff has been. Many thanks for all the great care!

We heard about Van Every Family Chiropractic Center through our first and very BAD experience with Chiropractic care. Needless to say, we were very skeptical. My son Zia, then 2 years old, was experiencing breathing issues and a consistently runny nose. Zia’s nose ran literally all the time - he was so used to it that it would just stream down his face and didn’t even bother him. My brother suggested Chiropractic could help. We tried another Dr. who claimed she was ‘kid-friendly’. YIKES! That couldn’t have been further from the truth! From the moment when I first talked to Jane at the front desk, I knew Van Every was different. Jane took all the time I needed to answer countless questions I had and assured me that Dr. Saylor has endless experience with children (including have kids of her own). She made me feel confident that they would do their best to help my baby. Jane really showed she cared, in fact my son still looks forward to seeing her each time we visit the office. Zia didn’t talk at all when we started there so having a staff and Dr.’s who understood and could put him at ease was essential. The center itself has a wonderful room geared towards children called the ‘Jungle Room’. My son feels comfortable in the jungle room and he looks forward to each and every visit! He thinks a visit to the Jungle Room is a reward. In the beginning of his treatments we were advised to come in as much as we could and for us that was twice per week. Now at 4 years old, we continue once per month as a maintenance measure. If my son’s nose starts running I know it’s time for an adjustment!! Both Dr.’s Saylor and Vanloon were very helpful in letting us know when to back off his aggressive visit schedule as his symptoms improved over the course of his care. We truly feel like part of the family there. I would never go anywhere else. In fact, I’m a patient now too!
