I went to see Matson regarding an injury to my elbow claiming he was an insured sports doctor to
schools and colleges in the San Fernando Valley. It turned out both were lies.
Having brought my MRI to the first visit, he said he claimed he could not read it. He put me on an exercise program which I complied enthusiastically but only made the pain
worse. On my second visit he had me lay on his table and without telling me did twists to my neck in both directions causing extreme pain ( and this for an
elbow injury something I would have never agreed to had it been discussed in advance). Immediately after he had hyper-extended both elbows (I had mentioned that I had
slightly strained the left elbow as well) After the session I had chronic pain in my neck and both elbows. I returned two more times in the course of two weeks to treat the wreckless injury
he did to my neck (free of charge) still with no improvement.

After a few months of chronic pain, I filed
a letter of complaint to the Chiropractic Board Of California. I then pursued restitution for damages and that was when I discovered he was not insured. I settled for a paltry
sum that in no way has covered the subsequent expenses and surgeries to correct his damage both to elbows and neck. I remain still with chronic neck pain that a top orthopedist
has claimed rare and untreatable. I cannot recommend at all his services.

Best chiropractor around when he was down here North of L.A. in Canoga Park!!!

My husband and I haven't found a chiropractor like Dr. Matson, close to us, since he left the San Fernando Valley many years ago.

When he was located down here, his treatments included hot packs or ice packs first, a massage treatment and then an adjustment!!

Best service out there!! Sad that he moved to Santa Rosa...but great for the community of Santa Rosa and Dr. Matson's family!!

We miss him!!
