About

Joseph Bond, DO

Medical Oncology is the subspecialty dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Oncology is one of the most exciting and rapidly changing fields of medicine. Many new treatments including intravenous, oral medications and targeted therapies (non-chemotherapy drugs that are designed to treat very specific tumor types) are now available in addition to traditional chemotherapy. All of these treatments are available at Bond Clinic. We have a trained staff of Registered Nurses that are dedicated to the care of cancer patients, in a comfortable state of the art facility.

The care of cancer is a multidisciplinary treatment, meaning there are many people involved in the care of a cancer patient. The oncologist and his/her team coordinate that care, which may include chemotherapy, targeted agents, surgery, radiation therapy, genetics testing, counseling, and hospice care.

PCRMC is proud to be able to offer cancer patients the opportunity to participate in the most up to date medicine as part of national clinical trials. PCRMC is associated with the Cancer Research for the Ozarks, a National Cancer Institute Community Clinical Oncology Program.
