I have been studying and practicing yoga for 15 years as a compliment to my athletic endeavors. I began teaching in 2000 and currently I hold an Intermediate Junior 1 Certificate in the Iyengar method. iynaus.org I am very well studied as I have apprenticed with Lois Steinberg for 7 years who is well known for her books on therapeutic yoga and I have studied in India 4 times for a total of 3 1/2 months. Being an Iyengar practitioner and teacher I am very well versed in the usage of props as a tool to better assist a posture and to help those who have special concerns. My studio is well equipped and open to many different populations. So whether you are looking for a difficult Sun Salutation class to build strength or my level 1 where I focus on bringing the beginning elements to the postures so that your practice can continue to grow in a safe and progressive manner.
