I am a patient of Dr. Craig Merrill in the Santa Maria Office. My office visit was yesterday and I was first so impressed with the person who I spoke with to make the appointment. She had the most wonderful telephone skills, and I told her tha. I was also impressed with the overall staff in the Santa Maria office, especially the customer service you receive at the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me when I walked in, actually with a smile on his face. He was training another person at the time, so I knew he was extremely busy, but he was very nice. There was also a young lady that was calling patients who had forgotten their appointment that day. She was so kind on the phone, asking if the person would like to reschedule again. When a patient sits in a waiting room, I cannot help but listen to the staff and how they interact, and this was a pleasure to say the least.

Dr Merrill has always treated me extremely well. He takes the time out of a obviously busy schedule to actually talk to you. He explains thing in a manner that you can understand and that is so helpful when you have no idea what is going on with your eyes.

I want to commend each person at this office as well as the call center as they have no idea how nice it is to receive excellent customer service when it seems that it is a dying art.
