CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Open Class: Here we focus on breathing, postural alignment & relaxation.

Couples Yoga: Enhance your relationship! Experience Yoga with your partner & learn
to nurture each other.

Kids Yoga: Each child will learn breathing, stretching, meditation and self discipline while they have fun!

Pre-Natal Yoga: The breathing and stretches specific to Labor & Delivery will create
a positive birth experience.

Thai Yoga Therapy: A relaxing yet energizing form of body work consisting of acupressure, gentle stretching and rocking compressions. By utilizing certain stretches
and positions, with the support of the therapist, you will release physical and emotional tensions. You will also relearn the deep abdominal breathing that provides a pathway to deep relaxation.

Chakra Opening & Energy Healing: These sessions will be introductions to the
Seven Chakras. They will demonstrate how balance & openness in these areas will
affect your day to day lives.

WORKSHOPS
In a 3-4 hour session we can target certain areas, focus on particular postures and
breathing techniques.

VINYASA
(Flowing Yoga) ~ A series of postures, carefully designed to guide you in all
movements (in class as well as life.) You are flowing from one posture to another via
your breath, enhancing your immune system, flexibility, and strength of body & mind.
Vinyasa will explore and develop your inner strength.

YOGA NIDRA
In Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a journey inward through which we return to our true
nature. Join us in this powerful experience combining restorative yoga and an
ancient practice that opens the mind and awakens the spirit.

SALUTATIONS
Earth, Sun & Moon Salutations
We begin by creating an intention: Being fully in the moment as you perform a series
of movements designed to guide your body into postures that complete each other.
Each linking of these positions creates a balance of movement. In our process of
concentrated movement we focus the mind, explore & develop inner strength and
flexibility.

PARTNERS YOGA
Partner Yoga creates the opportunity to support each other in many different
postures. It is mutually beneficial. You are able to give and receive support from each
other deepening your connection. Together you are finding new ways to be in the
posture. Most importantly you will find the joy, the laughter. Laughter is a potent
medicine.

Lastly, it enhances your ability to find a place of ease and therefore, you can stay in
the posture longer in your individual practice. It is herein that your Yoga practice will
grow. You may come with a partner or arrive and be matched up with another Yoga
practitioner.

YOGA FOR BACK CARE
Open yourself to a safe method of simple stretches designed to release constricted,
painful muscles and ligaments. Yoga stretches followed by specific postures bring
mobility and strength back to your spine, joints...your entire body. Breathe and
move the spine feeling the warmth as the blood flows into the discs. As we breather
we increase our bodies' innate ability to heal itself.

BODY/MIND AWARENESS
Join us for a journey through your body via the breath, supported postures and
awareness.

CHAKRA WORKSHOP
A Chakra in Eastern Tradition is a "Wheel of Energy" and in Western Medicine it
is recognized as a nerve plexus. Open the Wheels of Energy through Yoga
postures, herbs, sound vibrations, flower essence, meditation, bells and music. Come
on a healing inner journey, awaken closed areas and align yourself with your own
inner wisdom. These healing systems and practices have come down through time
from our ancient healers.

CHAKRA SERIES
One Chakra for each session. Recommend one class per month. Each class will last
two hours. It may be used as an introduction to the Full Chakra Workshop or as a
follow up.

In this series you will learn in detail the attributes of one Chakra at a time. You will
be given information and questions to ask yourself that will help you determine the
openness of each Chakra as we work to open each one. We will use sound, posture,
scent, herbs & meditation.
