About
After working as a clinical dietitian for 6 years in the Panhandle of Florida, in 2010 I traveled (most of) the entire lower 48 searching for a place to open my dream business, Nutritious Thoughts. The sights, sounds, and spirit of Asheville pulled me to the Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I am now living my dream as the Group Practice Owner of Nutritious Thoughts. The heart and compassion at Nutritious Thoughts reminds me everyday that I am living my dream. It is more than work life balance, harmony.
I am a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) and Approved Supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). This certification was established to promote standards of excellence within the field of eating disorders. I also enjoy serving my local community as an Advisory Board Member and Support Group Supervisor for the local non-profit organization, Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED).

I was sprouted in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was raised in the small town of Makanda, Illinois where I attended college at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. After graduating with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition, specializing in Dietetics, I went on to complete my graduate program/Dietetic Internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee.
