My treatment approach is typically based on cognitive-behavioral principles although I consider my views to be analytically informed. I am certainly client-centered and attentive to a nurturing and supportive environment. I believe all people have the capacity for growth and change and unlocking that potential is a significant focus of most treatment regimens. I appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of the human spirit which allows for further compassion and understanding. The work is often difficult and clients and I will share laughs and tears along the journey.

Generally speaking, I am interested in helping others gain insight. Those 'A-HA' moments where solutions to problems become clear. In getting to that point, the relationship between our thoughts and emotions as well as the function of our behaviors are of interest to me. How we communicate through our behaviors and the function of our interpersonal relationships are also significant. The above can be related to a vast array of life's stressors and clinical disorders.

I am very satisfied with my visit. They are professional and genuine, and I left feeling encouraged. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are consistently fully scheduled. I've never had to wait in a crowded waiting room. Their office is clean, spacious, and arranged to both reflect the therapist and provide a relaxed, therapeutic setting. They go above and beyond to help me determine and pursue what I need. I know I can trust and count on them. I am pleased with the progress I have made with this counselor. I feel it is time very well spent.
