Heather Swanson, Ph.D.
My current practice is a general clinical psychology practice, focusing on assessment and treatment of child, adolescent, and family problems. I also provide services for adults, as well as consultation, and training. I completed my undergraduate education at Iowa State University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in psychology. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Washington State University, where my studies emphasized clinical work with children, adolescents, and families. During my graduate studies I also completed a traineeship in the Utah Regional Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disorders (UR-LEND) program, focused on multi-disciplinary care for children with special healthcare needs and collaboration between pediatricians, psychologists, educators, occupational and physical therapists, and other health professionals. I completed my predoctoral internship at The Childrens Hospital in Denver, where I worked in the departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Neurotrama Rehabilitation. I have been providing clinical services, including therapy, assessment, and consultation since 2004 and truly love the work I do.
