We work with children, adolescents, and adults, individually and in relationships, including couples and families. Our family work occurs in the context of intact families, families restructured by separation, divorce, and remarriage, single-parent families, and nontraditional families including those with gay and lesbian partners.
Our psychaitric and nursing staff provide comprehensive care based on a complete assessment of psychiatric symptoms, brain function, diet, nutrition, excercise, food sensitivity, allergic reaction, and hormonal and immune system fucntion.
Practitioners work together, in an integrated fashion, to provide the most effective psychotherapy, medication management, and nutritional supplementation, either individually or in combination, as patient needs dictate.
Our goals are to improve the health, well-being, and happiness of our patients, both by strengthening existing personal assets and reducing the severity and interference of disruptive and self-defeating thoughts, feelings (e.g., anxiety, depression, and anger), and behaviors. Psychotherapeutic techniques include traditional cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and humanistic approaches as well as EMDR and neurofeedback. We provide exceptionally effective and science-based interventions for ADHD.
In recognition of the potentially disruptive effects of separation and divorce, our practitioners provide family forensic services, including coaching and child specialist consulting in the context of collaborative divorce, child custody and parenting capacity evaluations, mediation, and parenting coordination.
