About

Richard Iacobelli, DC

This practice is different in that the main focus is the correction of upper cervical subluxations (complex misalignments at the very top of the spine) to relieve nervous system tension that can result in imbalance and underlying health issues. This is not the only focus, however. Your entire spine and physiology will be addressed.

There is no twisting, cracking or forceful movements.

Most corrections are performed with a special instrument. Unless indicated, MRI, CT, and x-ray are avoided. Specific upper cervical and cranio-sacral work is supported by pelvic blocking and targeted acupressure techniques.

The practice objective is to restore normal central nervous function in the vital area where the brainstem meets the spinal cord enhancing the body's ability to regulate and heal itself.

Spinal Correction Helps Maintain Balance
Balance Leads to Wellness
Wellness is the Foundation of Prevention

It is important to realize that the restoration of proper nervous system function through upper cervical correction is not a substitute or alternative to medical care. Upper cervical corrective care is a completely unique and holistic healing art.
