Dr Devgan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, including a double certification (certified in 2001 and again in 2011). Dr Devgan has received the Honor Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS). In addition, he is only one of the two dozen surgeons, out of 18,000 nationwide, who has been selected to perform Live Surgical demonstrations for eye care companies like Bausch & Lomb to instruct an auditorium of 1000 other eye surgeons.
Dr Devgan maintains a boutique private practice in order to provide the best in cataract surgery, lens surgery, and LASIK surgery to his patients. He has been selected by many other eye surgeons to perform surgery on their eyes and the eyes of their family members. In addition to his private practice, Dr Devgan is Chief of Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery at UCLA's largest teaching hospital and performs charity surgeries every week to teach the UCLA ophthalmology resident surgeons how to master the techniques of cataract surgery.
