There is only one other staff member that I was in contact with and that was the secretary she was great for the most part. Now onto Mr. Lefkoe. I often waited as long as 30 minutes or more in the waiting room to be seen at every appointment then after he finally made his way to me he did things that just seemed abnormal to me like taking my temp and blood pressure I was there for a back problem but I guess some Dr.s feel the the need to do such things. I have had several appointments with MR. Lefkoe and I never left the office feeling like I knew more that what I went in knowing or even better knowing he was helping because he wasn't. At one point he suggested I talk to a therapist I'm thinking he thought my pain was all in my head. I have never been impressed with him but he supposedly knew what he was doing yeah not so much. My last and final appointment with him was my breaking point. I was having very debilitating back pain along with nerve pain. To make a really long story much shorter. He made me stand on a cold floor in a hospital gown with no socks nothing with the back of the gown wide open(thankfully I was allowed to wear underwear)for almost 15 minutes while he typed his notes letter by letter as if he had never used a keyboard before. Finally after standing there feeling rather uncomfortable both because I was in excruciating pain and because I felt like he was staring at me I began to cry (due to the pain) he asked me what was wrong and I told him I was in A LOT of pain and making me stand on a hard cold floor while he typed his notes was making things so much worse, his response to me is something I will never forget. HE looked me straight in the eye and said "Well what do you want me to do about it?" I said your job would be nice but better yet I want you to turn over my records cause you're fired. And just so you know his failure to do his job got me referred to a neurosurgeon who performed both a diskectomy and laminectomy less than a month later. Another strange event happened out int he waiting room my boyfriend had heard me scream from the pain and asked the receptionist if she would walk him to the room and she refused telling him I was just fine and the Dr. probably hit a sore spot funny thing is he wasn't even touching me. I have considered legal action but I know it would get me nowhere so I am spreading the word the best way I know how, hopefully a future possible patient will read this review and fine someone else.
