I saw Dr. Dlabal on an urgent basis when I was visiting family in Missouri. I developed strep throat and a raging ear infection, which was treated by a walk in clinic initially. After spending 5 days literally unable to get out of bed and with no improvement form the treatment I was given, I returned to the walk in clinic. Another 3 days and I was still no better, but by this time my ears felt like they could just explode and I was in excruciating pain. I called an ENT out of the phone book, who just happened to be Dr. Dlabal. Although they were booked, after I explained my circumstances and level of pain, they worked me in that day. Not just that day, but within the next hour. I was treated so well by Dr. Dlabal and his staff. I can't even describe the misery I was in when I arrived for that appointment! He quickly examined me and then put drops in my ears to ease the pain right away.I was given new scripts because what I was given by the walk in was not the appropriate antibiotic for the infection, hence it failed to work. With the new treatment from Dr. Dlabal, I was feeling back to normal within 48 hours and was able to make my flight home. Truly a wonderful practice!
