Dr Ruffin at Sac River Counseling is wonderful. She is compassionate, understanding and offers good advice. I just started seeing her a few weeks ago after having a counselor at Mercy in Spfld for several years. My counselor at Mercy was wonderful but she cut her sessions back to 20-25 minutes and I did not feel as if she could meet my needs in that amount of time time. Plus I had to drive an hour to reach the Mercy behavioral health clinic whereas the Sac River Counseling clinic is only 30 min away. Sac River is outside of my insurance network but they base my fee on my income and I actually end up paying less than I would normally pay for a specialist doctor copay. I would highly recommend Sac River Counseling in Greenfield.

They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
