This counselor didn't seem to listen. She advised to start an antidepressant without having full knowledge of baseline hormones/body chemistry, even though I advised her that I was uncomfortable and didn't agree with medicating a problem. She then strongly advised that my partner attend counseling with me, after I had already told her two or three times that my partner refused to attend and denied having problems to fix.

She answered her cell phone in the middle of our session and I was first shocked and second appalled!! Her college son, asked for money and then in the middle of our counseling session she had the audacity to ask him how school was going. Then kicked me out of my appointment early, not including the 10 or so minutes she was late and the time spent on the phone with her son. She said "sorry but, it is what it is"-whatever that means. I think that is completely unprofessional and rude.

This counselor is a clock watcher. She is not the woman to help me find solutions to my problem. In fact, she succeeded in making me feel very unimportant.
