Suzanne Filardi was thoroughly unfamiliar with the adolescent and childhood developmental issues our family presented. She knows nothing about in patient psychiatric admissions, interventions surrounding "cutting", or even playground dynamics. Ms. Filardi actually recommended that our 6 year old son wait for a bully after school and hit him! Ms. Filardi also diagnoses individuals she has never treated nor seen professionally and intervenes in family systems even when requested not to do so. She also shares information inappropriately with minors. She is unable to effectively identify personality disorders in family systems and is easily manipulated by individuals suffering from narcissistic personality disorder. Ms. Filardi is unable to remain neutral when certain family dynamics are present so beware if you or your family system trigger her own issues. This woman should not be a therapist as she caused a great deal of damage to my children due to her lack of knowledge and experience and apparent failure to work through her own psychological issues.
