I saw Carl for more then two years on a regular basis while my Mom was sick. She had an alzheimer-type dementia and I was one of her primary care-takers. I told him at the initial visit that I wanted to stay sane while caring for my Mom. I don't think I could have done it without him. He was steady, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He gave me tools to help in the day-to-day dealing with my Mom and the rest of my family. I quit seeing him when my Mom died, but I absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for counseling.
