Why I chose not to continue using Dr Zangara; I had been bringing all my pets to Phil Zangara for 25 years and had no complaints. About two years ago during the plandemic I needed to bring my dog in so I made an apptmnt. Keeping in mind they had this NO YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY NOT ENTER THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES I brought my dog pulled into the parking lot and called. Then SHE came out! I politely asked the assistant or attendant when we can finally start going back inside to accompany our pets and much to my utter surprise this what she said word for word; "I'm really tired of having these conversations and if you like you can always go to another Veterinarian". So without hesitation I told her to give me back my dog and politely to hold her to go eff herself and that Dr Zangara would be getting a call from me right away. Then came an even bigger shock. After leaving a message he called back and said he could give me the name of a Vet in Sayville who let's people in with their pets. Having said that, The Zangara's and Roosevelt animal hospital definitely don't need your money. Go somewhere else.
