I lost a great horse because he was misdiagnosed by Virginia he had pneumonia they kept him a week drilled wholes in his face with syringes sticking out he stood out in the cold wind in December not in a stall. I kept calling and asking how he was doing they would tell me he was doing good I asked if he was eating was told yes. Thursday December 9, 2005 they called told me to come get my horse. I picked him up brought him home removed his blanket he was so skinny. They said his teeth were bad charged me nearly $200 to float his teeth they were previously done in the spring of 2005. She said he had colic then it was a sinus infection. He passed away Sunday two days later had him taken to the lab in Waverly they performed autopsy there was 80% fluid in both lungs like I tried to tell her but she ignored me said she went to school for Veternarian services she was the vet! When you take a horse to an equine vet ask them to scope him and green pea soup looking stuff comes out of his nose at the removal of the scope it’s pneumonia. I would never recommend this woman to treat any animal it’s all about the money not saving the horse. She’s incompetent in my opinion.
