Dr. Jacobson has 23 years of practice experience in veterinary medicine, from helping shelter animals to working at some of the largest specialty centers across the USA. She is the only Board Certified Specialist in small animal medicine (practicing internal medicine) on the western slope of Colorado. She is also proficient in veterinary dentistry, neurology, radiology, intensive care, oncology, dermatology, toxicology, emergency care, orthopedic diagnostics and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Jacobson works with another specialist for orthopedic surgeries.

The Boarding facilities are immaculate. A recent surprise visit from the Dept. of Agriculture assessed Tomichi Pet Care Center's kennels as, "very well maintained, with great attention to detail".

Memberships: American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Dipl. ACVIM), AVMA, CVMA, PACFA licensed.
