DOG OWNERS BEWARE!

Saugus "Animal Hospital" is thee WORST vet I have ever been to with no care or regard to helping animals whatsoever!! My dog was involved in a severe attack. He was bleeding profusely and very weak and wobbly. When we got there they took him back to evaluate him. They said he needed to have emergency surgery and went over the charges with me. I told them that was no problem however since it happened so fast I didn't bring my purse with me but my mom would be paying for it (who was working in San Fernando Valley) and would have no problem paying them in full over the phone or as soon as she was off work in person. They refused to accept payment and REFUSED TO TREAT my dog who at this point was losing a lot of blood and crying in pain! I couldn't believe it! My mom and I begged for them make an exception and to please treat him but we were turned away and told to go to our usual vet (Dr Sharp Pet Hospital in SFV who seen him immediately w/o question about payment) This is the worst experience I have ever had at an "animal hospital!" I am furious that a business who is supposed to care about animals is too busy worried about following a policy and collecting money than to treat my dog who was in need of treatment. After the incident my mom called and spoke to a manager who was rude about the whole thing and said that they had to follow policy and called me a liar saying my dog wasn't bleeding that bad! He had a horrible attitude, didn't even apologize once or ask how my dog was!! Unbelievable! Needless to say I will NEVER come back and I encourage everyone to stay FAR FAR AWAY from these unprofessional greedy heartless people!

FYI: My dog is doing much better and is resting at home now thanks to Dr Sharp Pet Hospital
