I have been taking my cat, Shilo, to Rider for three years for sores in his mouth. Rider insist the sores are cause by alleries. I always ask if anything else could cause the sores or the low weigh and he insisted no and he refuse to do any test. Shilo started having issues again and this time something was different. On Christmas eve, 2018, I took Shilo to an aniaml hosp. because I wanted to know for sure. I now know alleries do not cause sores or low weigh. What can cause sores in the mouth, foul breath,and low weight is kidney disease. Tests were run and Shilo's blood count was down to 13. He was in the final stages of kidney failure. Rider really drop the ball. Rider's lack of knowledge or care prevented Shilo from being on the right diet and getting the medical care he needed. He could have lived longer and healther. I am not a cat lover, however, Shilo would make me melt with his sweetness and he was so loveable. Rider has become known as the In-And-Out-Doctor because of the lack of time he will give to the pets or the family. RIP Shilo!
