My first visit with Dr. Putnum was in 1986 when I moved to Garland. He later sold his business and moved. I stayed with the new veterinarian mainly because of the location to my home. Recently this veterinarian closed the VCA Animal Hospital in Garland and joined his business with another VCA Animal Hospital in Richardson. After using this new location several times this year, I found that I am not comfortable with the staff. They seem too busy to take care of their customers and seem to be only interested in selling you supplies or additonal services that you do not need. I have moved to west Plano and decided today that it was time to change to another veterinarian. I looked up Dr. Putnam and found that he was fairly close now at Carrollton West. This made my day! Dr. Putnam is the best Veterinarian in the Dallas area. Looking forward to having him once more as my Veterinarian. I know my two Minpins will like him as well.

Dr Putnam is one of the best vets in Dallas. He is no longer at Vital Pet/Preston Forest Animal Clinic. We had a dog who Dr. Putnam kept alive for many years. He is truly the best vet in Dallas. Since he has left, I would never step foot in that clinic again. The management of Vitalpet truly is lacking customer service/compassion/respect. I only wish Dr. Putnam was closer to my neighboorhood,
