Do not go to Dr. Shapiro! I had SMAS facelift, blepharoplasty, fat transfer and chemical peel procedures performed that cost me $20,000. During my initial consultation appointment, Dr. Shapiro advised me that he would be able to eliminate some lines on my face. After the surgery, every time that I went in for a follow-up appointment, I expressed concerns about the same lines still being present on my face. Dr. Shapiro would tell me to wait until a year had gone by before I started "complaining." During my last appointment, 11 months after the surgery, Dr. Shapiro became highly agitated when I brought up this same concern. He became extremely rude and condescending in his attitude toward me. He continued to rant and rave then finally, he stormed out of the room. I was in shock at his extremely unprofessional demeanor. I was so upset that when I arrived back to my house, I immediately telephoned his office and advised the staff of the incident. It seemed that this was not the first time that Dr. Shapiro had become so agitated with a client. Think twice before having this man as your surgeon. Thank god that he didn't go into a rampage when I was on the operating table! If you ever question this man about anything, he goes into a rage. He has a very rigid personality along with a superiority and narcissistic complex. Good luck and BEWARE.

In August, I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Shapiro. I found out a friend had gotten her breast augmentation with him about 15 years ago. They still looked really good and she was so happy with her results, so I made a consultation appointment with Dr. Shapiro. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Everyone answered my questions and made me feel comfortable. Now, I love the fullness of my chest. My breasts look so perfect, just amazing. I have much more confidence. Definitely, I will recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone looking at a breast augmentation.
