I have been seeing Dr. Mackler for a little over four months at this point. I had been suffering from terrible back pain for years that I assumed was from being active and having extreme knots in my upper back and behind my shoulder blades. I would get massages frequently that would alleviate the pain for a day or so but always returned. I called him on an especially excruciating day and lucky for me he had a spot open the very next day for new patients.

The first visit took almost two hours. He evaluated my posture, my habits, and lifestyle. He saw that my neck and head protruded far out from my head and was what was causing my muscle pains and discomfort. He showed me how to appropriately set up my work space so that I don't hurt myself further and gave me the rundown on good bags and bad bags for my neck and spine. He also recommended that I get x-rays but was able to do the first adjustment that day.

I saw him twice a week for a month or so and then have lessened my time as I have become more "in line." He is a great listener, takes copious notes, and obviously cares about the well being of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone, he has literally changed my life and made it pain free.

I first began seeing Jack Mackler last June when my chronic back pain became nearly unbearable. He was the only doctor in DC I contacted who was willing to get me in immediately. Every single doctor I contacted besides Dr. Mackler told me that they had no opening for new patients for three-four weeks. How is that helpful when the severe pain is occurring right now?

To make matters worse, I was scheduled to leave the following evening for a business trip. Dr. Mackler made a way to get me in, however, and we made a plan for continued care after my trip. He quickly determined that I had minor scoliosis - something my hometown chiropractor never told me or my parents when I began having back pain pain when I was 15. In the following weeks, I saw the doctor twice a week, and after two months he had reduced my pains from constant and sharp to constant but bearable. I've been seeing him every other week since.

You'd be hard-pressed to find another doctor as committed to his patients than Jack Mackler.
