I see a therapist and a psychiatrist here. Both of them are wonderful. My therapist does not make me confront anything that I am not ready to, but helps me to see rationally what I am experiencing. She lets me tell her what I need from my treatment, and helps me to achieve these things. My psychiatrist is also great, he works with me to find a good balance for my medications, that don't overwhelm me but also help me. He is kind and I am comfortable with him as well. Only complaint is that once, my therapist was out sick and nobody notified me, so I showed up for the appointment. But it really wasn't enough of a problem to decrease my rating.

In setting up the appointment made it clear my therapist wanted me to get an ADD test, and I wanted to see someone who does the actual testing. I did not need or want a referral, but the testing or determination made by the doctor I was seeing on that day. But at the end of the appointment was told they do not do the testing and was given a referral, exactly what I had asked not to happen. The referrals given were to people who were either not in my health plan or do not do the testing with adults. The doctor also ran about a 1/2 hour late, and the appointment which I was told would be about 50 minutes was actually 30.
In addition when making the original appointment, left a message, no one called back. Followed up again leaving another message, they called back 2-3 days later. doing a fairly extensive interview on my history (and again making it clear I wanted an ADD test or determination) over the telephone and said someone would get back to me later that day or in 24 hours. Four days later someone called with the appointment. Waited another 2 weeks for the appointment , the results of which are above. Not sure what happened to the history I gave over the phone since much of the appointment was spent repeating the information already given.
So 1 month wasted so far in getting the test, my time and money wasted. I am back to where I started, looking for someone to do the testing who is in my health plan.
Seems to be some serious communication issues with in the organization and from my brief encounters they do not seem to understand simple clearly stated requests.
