As far as I consciously know, I haven't been to Michael Weir. That's my problem. The hypnotherapist who's in my mind entered without my knowledge or consent. I only know it's there because of the obnoxious behavior of two people it got to help manipulate me. I have been to Cranberry Psychological Center, which has no hypnotherapists on the roster. CPC has ghosted me when I've tried to insist this stop. If CPC were guided by their ethics code, they would have stopped the hypnotherapy on my first request, since no hypnotherapist is ever supposed to do what one is doing to me. If it happened to me, it can happen to you. Thus, I'd recommend avoiding Cranberry Psych and not trying hypnotherapy if you have a mind you'd like to keep. Weir should be putting pressure on Cranberry Psych to make sure the unethical hypnotherapist stops, because its actions show that his profession is an unregulated Wild West. If any readers would like to politely, calmly call up Cranberry Psych to tell them what they're doing to me is unacceptable, that would be good. I will point out that even Wellness says in its description of hypnotherapy that it is unproven. I'd say it's proven to do a lot, but I can't say that any of it is good from my experience.
