He was wonderful in the sense that he was able to get the bottom of things quickly. He had 'homework' for us to do that was on target and his guidance was biblical. I would recommend him all day long. Very sound advice. And he listens well to feelings.

I feel, and have felt, "broken" for most of my life. I wasn't sure what was wrong with me, but I knew that I struggled to get through each day. I existed on medications for depression and anxiety, but this didn't "fix" me. When I finally hit bottom and was considering drastic measures to end my pain, I was encouraged to talk to someone. I considered giving counseling ONE appointment - win or lose. One appointment turned into many, and I am learning a little more about myself each time. I am a long way from feeling "fixed," but I have been given insight into my way of looking at life, and gentle, but persistent, prodding to take steps that will allow me to re-enter life as a stronger person. Some steps I take, some I think about, and some I totally reject. I feel this will be a long journey, but now I am learning to move forward, slowly, guided with honest care and true concern.
