This provider was recommended via the Stamford Courthouse. Dr. von Kohorn met with our then elementary age child, arranging with a GAL to have him taken out of school without my notice or consent as the child's legal guardian. More bizarre is the fact parent was under probation with the court during these visits. When he finally released his notes, no questions were ever asked about the child's safety or concern, only how to add more time to the parent paying him more money. This provider should not be used by CT Family Court cases.

I was sent to this provider from the Stamford court system for family therapy. He has no compassion whatsoever and gave me the distinct impression that he could care less about any thing I said. He charges an arm and a leg and delivers nothing. I believe he is only in the profession to take money from people. I have known a lot of therapists in my life and he was distinctly the coldest therapist I have ever met.
