Linda Van Valkenber-Bishop is a "children's counselor" who offices with Jerry Perigo who is a parent coordinator in Tulsa. I am going thru a difficult divorce now in Tulsa Family Court for 4.5 years. I am divorcing an abusive spouse, and during the past year 2015 the children have endured discipline by physical force from their father. This has been documented by the childrens certified play therapist, and doctor's reports. Linda VanValkenberg-Bishop was recently asked to interview my youngest son on 6/11/2015. After the session Ms. VanValkenber-Bishop informed me that my child told her about two serious incidents and she also said the father admitted and confirmed the events. She told me a report would be written to the GAL and PD for the children. However, a few weeks later I was informed that only a brief email was sent to the PUblic Defender fir the children. This is the second time that I have dealt with Linda VanValkenberg-Bishop not following thru with critical information to protect my children. She most certainly does not act in the "best interest of the children", but according to pressure from her office mate Jerry Perigo, et al. It's unconscienable, and I do not recommend this counselor especially for children under any circumstance. FYI, she was the children's counselor for Brayden Creech who was a little boy (age 5) fatally injured in Tulsa by his father Bryon Creech during a visitation exchange in March, 2015. Again, for the safety of your children I do not reccommend Linda VanValkenberg-Bishop.
