This Hospital should close it's doors on the mental behavior side. Recently put a family member there because she desperately needs help and not only did this family member scream like an idiot and show extreme hostile behavior in front of the doctors, they kept this family member for extra review because of a family mental illness history (they knew she was acting out, had theft in her history that went along with mental illness etc) and still they determined that there was nothing wrong with her and sent her home because of her insurance.

Stay away from Turning Point Hospital in Georgia. From the time you arrive until you leave you are treated with total disrespect. There is no security so many patients go to the emergency room from being attacked by other patients who are frustrated with the care they are receiving. You never know what medicine you will get because of the incompetence of the medical staff. You sleep in a room in the dead of winter with cold air blowing down on you. There are so many rules until you feel like a prisoner. I have only told a small portion of why Turning Point Hospital is not a place to go to but to stay away from.
