The Arc of the Three Rivers is a private, non-profit behavioral organization founded in 1952. The Arc is an organization consisting of clients, employees, families, volunteers, interns, Board members, Directors, members, advisory council members, donors, benefactors, supporters, and friends.

We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is representative of the diversity of the communities we serve from Kanawha, Boone, Clay, and Putnam Counties. We are licensed to provide behavioral health services in West Virginia and certified to provide Title XIX Waiver services.

Comprehensive behavioral health, representative payee, casework, and advocacy services are provided to over 500 clients each year. Current programs include service coordination, therapeutic consultation, psychological assessment services, residential services, community and facility habilitation services, representative payee, and supported employment.

We proudly provide services to people with intellectual and development delays in Kanawha, Boone, Clay, and Putnam Counties.

Our goal is to provide quality life experiences, supports, and services to the people we serve and their families. This is achieved by a spectrum of talented volunteers, donors, board members, advisory members, staff, contractors, professional collaborators, and families/guardians.
