I had a number of sessions with Polly and I found her to be very open, welcoming, warm, and insightful. I felt very safe in her care while also getting great insight and direction and help to just let negative or painful things go. We were doing EMDR and I felt like she was able to assist me in looking at and processing some difficult stuff. I loved how she also incorporates visualization, relaxation, and mindful meditation within her treatment. I trust her and feel much at ease after my sessions with her. I highly recommend her as a soulful, insightful, accepting, trustful, and genuinely human therapist who uses her many years of experience and her unique personal style and training to offer very helpful therapy work.

Unfortunately, it must have been a bad time in her life. Some of the other reviews said good things. I think maybe her recent divorce must have skewed her advice and guidance. Seemed very biased and probably the worst counseling I've had. She inserted her opinions and prejudices into the sessions. It was as if she only took psychology 101 and then called herself a counselor. It was that bad. There are so many other counselors. I would highly recommend trying someone else.
