He was utterly unable to keep track of my case. Utterly unable to give me the tools I needed to survive repeated acts of abuse. In fact, he never addressed them. I kept asking, "but what do I DO?" and he just said: "Oh, expect more of the same." Between sessions he appeared to forget who I was! He focused on nothing of substance, had no apparent treatment goals nor plans and reminded me over and over that, "You know, I wrote a book about that." and "I do have my own practice..." He was the worst. The. Worst.
