Be careful and wary if caught up with this man in a parental evaluation. George Nicholos is a psychologist, not a social worker. Yet he overextends his level of competence over parental alienation matters. He will lie. He will make up his mind about a case before any investigation. That is not brilliance it is stupidity. His lack of objectivity and consideration for what is best for children is undeniable. Do research and find someone who will appeal to your own level of intelligence. Find someone who is ethical. But most of all, find a state where evaluators are paid for by the state and there are caps for how much they are able to bill. Finally, make sure your lawyer knows how to get you an opportunity for rebuttal so that details do not snowball into complete nonsense. Finding a parental evaluator who is not biased and entrenched in politics is difficult. Psychological labels and diagnosis should always be given by professionals who spend adequate time with a person, not an evaluator. Make sure you get a realistic representation of info that is gathered and know that diagnoses/labels were created by psychologists in order to help people not harm children or a parent during a divorce. Keep in mind that so called experts need to be working on themselves in their own therapy on a regular basis or they do not belong in the field of psychology.

He is incompetent in diagnosing parental alienation. He lacks the specific training in attachment theory, and his arrogance can cause him to miss the obvious. He is expensive and will mostly just write down your stories and guess at a proposal.
