I have been seeing Maddy Nathan in therapy over 13 years as a patient. I have never been more pleased with a medical professional. She is a great psychologist and, frankly, a human-being.

I met Dr. Nathan in 1998 for neuropsychological testing as an eight-year-old. My teachers and parents suspected I had ADHD, along with other behavior problems. As a nervous young child, she made me feel at-ease with her warm demeanor and clear instructions. The testing lasted two days, and I can recall it was fun and interesting, which I was not expecting at the time. I recently read my report from back then, and it was very thorough and well-written. I received many accommodations from my school, and my family learned how to create an environment in which I could thrive. I saw Maddy for two years in therapy until she moved.

I was so pleased with her work that, after she moved back, I began seeing Maddy again when I was sixteen and entering a very tough time in my life. I have a serious diagnosis (although she treats my symptoms and isn't hung-up on a "label.") Since then, Maddy has proven to be a stable and valuable person in my life. She helped and continues to help me work through my thoughts, emotions, and life. She gives me tools to deal with my symptoms and pragmatic advice that I can carry with me.

I highly recommend Maddy as a licensed psychologist. She is kind, thoughtful, professional, and down-to-earth.
