TERRIBLE therapist. I haven't been in to see Vanessa in a while, but I just can't shake the feeling that I need to warn other people not to waste their time or resources on this practice. If I could give less than one star I would. Vanessa belittled me, calling me "childish" in our first session. Despite this, I tried to stick it out with her. Her solution to many issues is to just smooth over problems with silly behavioral tricks instead of getting to the real heart of the issue and guiding her clients to true understanding and growth. I have since started up with another therapist and now understand the value of competent therapy.
