Visited with Dr. Lyerly and her bedside manners were unacceptable, unprofessional and shocking. I was so mad when I walked out of her office after seeing her for almost a year and a half. She made the comment that every time I'm in her office there's always different going on or happening to me. She'll ask when I arrive "what's going on", then she said, " stop right there. I'm not a counselor I'm only here to prescribe meds." I went over some of the issue's about wanting to kill myself and she said I was just wanting attention. WHAT!
What kind of doctor is she if she ask what's going on then said she's not here to counsel me? How does she know what kind of meds to prescribe if she doesn't know what is going on. I don't think anyone in there right mind take suicide threats lightly when anyone says this. WOW!
The counselor is great, but is always booked when I should be seeing her every week. I'm good to get in 2 times a month. Not real happy and very disappointed in Dr. Lyerly's behavior.
