My son was a Hyland for 3 days, due to a suicide attempt. He does not have health insurance. He was given a medication that caused a reaction where he could not breathe, the nurse said he was faking. He ended getting 2 injections. His discharge paper did not indicate the medication given. I had called Saturday morning, and the nurse seemed put out because i wanted to leave a message for my son. The day he was discharged, the physiatrist was supposed to see him. She was in the unit seeing other patients, but did not see him. Probably because he refused any other medications for fear of another reaction. I will never refer anyone to this facility.
