Although it was over 14 years ago, I remember "Dr. Mike" as if it were yesterday. His kindness, caring, and patient skill helped my son, nine years old at the time, overcome issues associated with the long mentally debilitating illness and subsequent death of his father. More recently, faced with a sudden family crisis, Dr. Mike, although it had been a half dozen years since we'd last spoken, responded immediately to our call, remembered us well, and offered inestimably helpful advice.
