I saw Dr. Don Dorsey for four years, which is an unusually long time, but I was unusually traumatized. My understanding is that most of his clients heal in a fraction of this time. Dr. Dorsey gave me very substantial and tangible help with what had been previously diagnosed as "chronic, severe post traumatic stress disorder," which I'd had for over twenty years. He also helped me with childhood trauma. He is very bright, very experienced and skilled, and extremely kind. Using EMDR and cognitive therapy, he greatly diminished the severity of my worst symptoms and helped me completely eliminate others. I recommend him highly and without reservation.
