Donna Reed was recommended to me for a very complex and difficult ongoing family relationship problem. I have been to therapists before and while I sometimes found them helpful, they never reached the root of the problem. Only two sessions in with Ms. Reed and I came away with a deep level of understanding and insight into my situation. I felt as if several tons of weight had been lifted from my entire psyche. I slept well for the first time in a long time as a result. I found Ms. Reed a good listener, patient, compassionate and not judgmental. It was very easy to open up to her. But more than that was how she was able to make the proverbial lightbulb turn on inside me and once she did, I was amazed at how no one else, including myself had seen this all along. She is very good at what she does. But... you have to be willing to look honestly at what is happening. I went in with a full desire to heal. I think some people may seek therapy to prove someone else is wrong and they are right. That will never work and is a frustrating waste of money. Therapists are not miracle workers who wave a wand over us. They need us to do our part, too. Donna Reed is very skilled and safe for this. I was nervous before I saw her, not knowing what to expect. But soon I relaxed and she has a wonderful atmosphere, too. Very private and comfortable and pleasing. Highly recommended!
