Gabriel Myers committed suicide in a Margate foster home, and his death resurrects a problem many thought had been addressed by state law — the misuse of psychotropic medication.

Unfortunately, too many youths in Florida’s foster care system — 2,669 at last count — are still on potentially dangerous, mood-altering medication. Almost one of every six of those youngsters is given these drugs without court order or parental consent.

They gave him ZYPREXA !!! A seven year old !!

And amphetamines and prozac !

Gabriel Myers was killed by Compass Heath Systems the place that drugs all the foster children !

Look up "drugging foster children" online..

Its dispicable !

The office was extremely filthy and as soon as I filled out the new patient paperwork they handed me a cup for a urine sample. I asked the intake clerks what the test was for and they said they don't know it is just what they have new patients do. I asked if I could see the doctor first. Then I sat down and waited. About 15 minutes later an intake nurse informed me that doctor was in a meeting. She took me to a room and started asking questions and asked why I refused the UA. I said I didn't refuse I just wanted to know why. After speaking with her, I agreed to do the UA. I sat back in the waiting room another 15 minutes and was called to the back to complete the UA. Then back to the waiting room another 15 minutes. I finally get called back and meet a nurse practitioner who said doctor is doing rounds at the hospital. She starts asking the same questions the intake nurse asked me and then looks at my UA results. She said I tested positive for Benzos but negative for Amphedimines. I take an ADHD medicine and should be testing positive for amphedimines and I have no clue what a benzo is. The NP then tells me that sometimes these tests are wrong and she will give me a 1 week script and send my labs out to be further tested. If you are dealing with mental health and run UA to screen for compliance with meds, why would you rely on tests that are known to be wrong? I never saw the doctor I was supposed to and when I called the next day to cancel my future appointment, I told them I wanted to see another doctor and they just said ok. No questions asked, no followup or anything. VERY SCARY PLACE!!!
