Dr. Paul Cimmino has been in clinical practice for over 30 years. His approach is caring, client-centered, reality oriented and contends that therapy actually starts when the client leaves the office. Dr. Cimmino is a full professor in clinical social work & sociology at Walla Walla University-Billings Campus/MSW Program. He is former Chief PSW at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center LA Calif./clinical prof. psychiatry appt.-UCLA Psych.neuro. inst. and published author in the human services field. Dr. Cimmino was trained by, & worked with noted pioneers in the field of mental health such as Virgina Satir, Milton Greenblatt,MD, Gerald and Mariann Corey, Jolly West,MD, Bruno Bettlehiem, Mariann Woodside,PhD, Harold McPheeters,MD., Don Dosey (Gestalt Therapy Human Process Inst,. Encino CA). and others. Dr. Cimmino background includes NAFC Credents and experience in forensic social work and psychology. He was a parole agent (behv. spec.) for Calif. Dept. of Corrections in the early 1980's. and CEO of large RTC for delin/emo. disturb yourth. He was also the CEO of Vermont Children's Aid Society from 1999-2001 (VCAS comprehensive adoption agency since 1918).
