DBT therapy was recommended to my by both my psychologist and my psychiatrist. This provider was recommended to me specifically. I have been trying to join a group session now for at least 6 months if not longer without success. I have to keep calling back every few weeks for an update. I can understand how and why the start date of a new group can be unpredictable, but I shouldn't have to chase her down. She should be calling me with updates. Also, she also didn't seem to remember me each time I called.

It was recommended that I discontinue seeing my regular therapist while I participate in the DBT program. Because of the perpetual state of limbo I have been continuing to see my regular therapist, but it is difficult to know how to schedule future appointments when I don't know if I will be switching to the DBT program.

At this point I am finished chasing down the group. I am researching other therapists and will hopefully find someone......

If you are truly dedicated to changing your life, Diane will help you do it. Her guidance several years ago helped me begin to take responsibility for my own life. She won't do the work for you or give you an easy "A," and you'll have to work very hard, but it's worth it to have "A Life Worth Living." I've faced a lot of traumatic events recently, and I am not giving up on life this time. I'm working on it. Also, I need sleep. Thank you, Diane. I owe you
