I've was referred to Tina several years ago for what a neurologist thought were pseudosiezures from stress, anxiety, depression. Although I really had chronic Lyme disease which has taken many years to treat, the referral was fortuitous for me. Tina has expertise in working with patients with chronic, painful illnesses. She has helped me deal with it in a constructive way, including dealing with the anxiety and depression that almost always accompany the disease (and I had suffered from both since adolescence). I've seen her on and off now for several years and we pick up where we left off after each break. She is skilled at asking the right questions to draw out the issues. With me she has adapted her approach over time. She know me well and that she can be direct and quickly get to the issues. She balances asking questions, letting me speak and search for answers, and giving her insights. Her insights routinely surprise me, how they get to the heart of the matter, each one adding another piece to the puzzle. I think anyone honest and willing to deal with problems would benefit from seeing her. (Someone not honest or willing may not benefit from seeing anyone.)
