I wish that they had been more courteous and respectful. He used a bit too much dismissive language for my comfort. Bubble tests were used more than interactions. Never really listened just made judgement based on testing. If domestic violence in background this is not the doctor you need. No more than 20 minutes talking at consecutive appointments, predetermined diagnosis never really listening, just restrooms here weren't that clean, but they weren't out-of-control disgusting. Their staff was not friendly at all, they were very rude and consdescending I didn't feel welcome there.

Dr. Bentivegna was rude and dismissive. His practices were highly questionable at best according to therapists that I subsequently worked with. From the domestic violence survivors groups, I have learned he has a reputation for abusive and unethical behavior. I felt unsafe by many of the things I expressed in his office and in court. If someone is seeking his advice I would tell them to run in the opposite direction!
